Welcome to the Bryan Bisordi School of Drums!

Offering Studio and In-Home private drum lessons to students of all ages and skill levels living in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens in New York City.

The Bryan Bisordi School of Drums began in 2004, and since then hundreds of students have been helped in their musical journeys. Along with children and adults of all ages, previous and current students include an NYC music consulting firm CEO, college jazz studies students, a construction worker, professional rock musicians, high school students preparing for college music programs, children of music industry professionals, and professional instrumentalists seeking to explore drums as a second instrument.

All my students deserve an experience tailored to their specific strengths and needs. We learn most effectively when the information is interactive, and speaks directly to our interests and experience. Within that framework, you will learn drumming fundamentals, develop a creative and emotional connection with the drums, be provided with real-world experience and study in rehearsing and performing, and we will work towards cultivating and fostering a love of music and drumming. Thoughout my time in New York City I've continued my career as a performer, appearing in twelve countries on four continents with jazz, country, rock, pop, and hip-hop ensembles in the last four years. I hold a BM in Jazz Studies from William Paterson University and am a graduate of the Michael Carvin School of Drumming in Manhattan. I also proudly endorse Canopus Drums.
